Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. We loved this hotel within walking distance from the lovely central shopping street. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent.

Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Everything! The hosts exceeded our expectations in many aspects, their hospitality was more than impeccable. The room was modern and fresh with very comfortable beds. Bathroom had a bathtub and there was Apple TV in the room. And of course full Japanese breakfast with more dishes you could count - absolutely an experience in itself! It was one of the best lodging experiences I have ever had and I don't say this lightly.

They took us to the monkey park and get us from the Yamanouchi station as well. They have private and public onsen as well. The rooms are warm and comfortable.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. The staff is lovely, the service excellent, and the food delicious. We went off-season so it was very quiet and peaceful to stroll around the little town and visit the public onsen with the yukata and shoes provided by the ryokan. The best one was the bath in the hotel though. They also offer a free shuttle service for the station and monkey park as well. We felt pampered and well taken care of at all times.

Peanuts House Kumakuma berlokasi di Nozawa Onsen, berjarak 22 km dari Taman Ski Ryuoo dan 32 km dari Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park. We walked 15 minutes to get to the slopes every morning, it’s right next to the bus stop and close enough to the heart of town without being disturbed by lots of noise or foot traffic. Very peaceful. The house itself is spacious so while it was shared bathrooms, I rarely saw anyone in there at the same time as me and I loved the onsen/hot tub in the basement for washing! It’s a great value for money and was much more comfortable and centrally located than I expected given the price and the shared bathroom. Kimmie, the owner, even made us apple pie one day. Highly recommend!
