We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Offering a barbecue and ski storage space, AIBIYA is located in Yamanouchi in the Nagano Region, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. Everything about this place rocks! I only wish I stayed longer.

The receptionist can speak english and good service. They sell rice, food. So we don't feel hungry. This hotel have sharing kitchen. Clean and comfort bed. Good view. We come here when winter season. Oh. Private onsen is beautiful.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. Location is superb. The shuttle was really helpful. The service is impeccable. Breakfast was amazing.

Opened in August 2012, B&B Hotel Hyochoan offers simple Western-style accommodations. Free in-room WiFi is available and guests can enjoy bird watching from the property’s terrace. The owners are very hospitable . The owner gave us a ride back to the train station and made a couple sightseeing stops and even took pictures for us. The breakfast was exceptional homemade Japanese food using top quality ingredient. We were even served a gold award sake which was excellent. The bed was super comfy. The property is within walking distance to nearby restaurants and onsen.

I Nagano, bare 20 kilometer fra Zenkoji-tempelet og 22 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon ligger Oshi Ryokan. Felt instantly comfortable and at home. Beautiful old building. Wonderful staff and food!

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Wonderful and caring couple owner. Very grateful he picked us up from the train station and sent us to the snow monkey park. During our 3 days stay we ordered breakfast and it was very delicious and nicely presented in Bento by his wife. The place is very clean.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. Absolutely loved our stay here. Our room was gorgeous and massive, with two beds and Tatami area. The baths upstairs were amazing, the authentic Japanese meals, dinner and breakfast were amazing and the presentation was 10/10 at the tatami tables. The staff were lovely and we loved the robes we were given, they thought of absolutely everything for us. The fact you have access to other baths too is great, can’t recommend this place enough!
