We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

Nastanitev ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B je v mestu Chino in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt, teraso ter bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Nastanitev B&B Hotel Hyochoan je bil odprt avgusta 2012 in ponuja preproste sobe v zahodnem slogu. V sobah sta na voljo brezplačen WiFi in terasa, s katere lahko opazujete ptice. The place is very good and the owners are so king and nice!

Nastanitev Oshi Ryokan se nahaja v mestu Nagano, 20 km od znamenitosti tempelj Zenkoji in 22 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano, ter ponuja vrt, brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi in brezplačno... We had an amazing time at Oshi ryokan. It was truly a highlight in our 2 week trip to Japan. After having a very busy few weeks walking and travelling around from city to city, this was the perfect place to spend our last few days. The food was excellent and easily the best food we ate while in Japan. Oshi and his family are so hospitable, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. It was a peaceful, romantic and restorative getaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. I stayed here seven years ago, so we went here already knowing what to expect. The owners were very nice, they picked us up from the train station immediately upon arrival and the next day the owner gave us a ride to the monkey park parking lot. The accommodation had everything we needed. Count on the fact that even in March it's cold in this area and in the accommodation too, luckily there were spot heaters in our room. I would recommend ordering breakfast, it was delicious.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. The staff is lovely, the service excellent, and the food delicious. We went off-season so it was very quiet and peaceful to stroll around the little town and visit the public onsen with the yukata and shoes provided by the ryokan. The best one was the bath in the hotel though. They also offer a free shuttle service for the station and monkey park as well. We felt pampered and well taken care of at all times.
