Offering a barbecue and ski storage space, AIBIYA is located in Yamanouchi in the Nagano Region, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. We stayed 4 nights and it was delightful! The hosts are amazing and day trips to Obuse, Nagano and off course the Snow Monkeys were easy by train or foot. The village is small but charming and in a blink you are in Shibu Onsen. Would totally recommend. Shared douches and little ‘noise cancellation’ was what we were afraid of beforehand, but the place was al peace and quiet (even fully booked) and showers were very good. Finally also a great breakfast.

Nastanitev Raicho Onsen Inn se nahaja v mestu Matsumoto, 39 km od znamenitosti Muzej Ukiyo-e, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter neposreden dostop do... Everything. Such an amazing place to stay. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable and staff are so so helpful - they recommended us hikes and helped with everything we needed. All the shared spaces are fantastic. The fires were always going and there were food and drinks available to purchase. The onsens are a highlight - we had such a beautiful time relaxing at Raicho inn. Couldn’t recommend coming here enough as a way to get out of the city and into nature. We will definitely be back.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

Nastanitev ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B je v mestu Chino in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt, teraso ter bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Nastanitev B&B Hotel Hyochoan je bil odprt avgusta 2012 in ponuja preproste sobe v zahodnem slogu. V sobah sta na voljo brezplačen WiFi in terasa, s katere lahko opazujete ptice. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is the best!

Nastanitev Oshi Ryokan se nahaja v mestu Nagano, 20 km od znamenitosti tempelj Zenkoji in 22 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano, ter ponuja vrt, brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi in brezplačno... Everything’s so perfect ~~ The owner Oshi San was super helpful. The room is spacious and with view overlooking a garden. It’s so lovely with a green view in summer. It’s a quiet location so I sleep pretty well. And the meals prepared are Fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. [heart].

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Wonderful and caring couple owner. Very grateful he picked us up from the train station and sent us to the snow monkey park. During our 3 days stay we ordered breakfast and it was very delicious and nicely presented in Bento by his wife. The place is very clean.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. Multi course exceptional meals including local seasonal produce - such a special experience. Onsen (inside and outside on rooftop), shower area and products were all high quality, traditional Japanese style rooms were beautiful, location in the town is great and fact saying here provided access to the 9 public onsens was fab. Shuttle bus was such a treat after we had gotten used to walking everywhere alongside buses/ train. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel! Certainly a highlight of the trip and can’t fault it.

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured.... One of the best hotel experiences ever. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the breakfast, which I highly recommend. The owners were kind enough to offer a vegetarian version for our friends that don’t eat meat. All in all, the owners were really welcoming and the hotel was exceptional. Don’t miss the onsen!
