Surrounded by lush greenery, Mampei Hotel offers free WiFi and free on-site private parking. JR Karuizawa Station is a 10-minute drive from this non-smoking accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Offering a barbecue and ski storage space, AIBIYA is located in Yamanouchi in the Nagano Region, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. Of all the places we stayed during out three week Japan trip, this was my favourite by far. I loved everything about it. From the fresh local produce for breakfast to the beautiful, comfy rooms. Highly recommend staying here 😁

Nastanitev Raicho Onsen Inn se nahaja v mestu Matsumoto, 39 km od znamenitosti Muzej Ukiyo-e, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter neposreden dostop do... The two indoor onsens and the outdoor onsen were absolutely amazing. You simply reserve a time slot and can enjoy the onsens privately. Breakfast was simple yet delicious with fresh bagels and jam. Free coffee beans are available, so you can make your own coffee or tea anytime. The kitchen area is spacious, cozy, and very clean. The living room is also warm and inviting especially lovely when watching the fire and enjoying a conversation with good company. Also, the staff were wonderfully kind and attentive doing their best to accommodate our needs, helping us with transportation, and making sure we could enjoy the activities we were interested in. Definitely would love to come back!

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

Nastanitev ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B je v mestu Chino in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt, teraso ter bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Nastanitev B&B Hotel Hyochoan je bil odprt avgusta 2012 in ponuja preproste sobe v zahodnem slogu. V sobah sta na voljo brezplačen WiFi in terasa, s katere lahko opazujete ptice. Very tranquil place to relax and enjoy the nature. The onsen and Harunire Terrace are not far from the B&B and easy to reach via walk or a short ride (the host could take you there in 5 minutes). The owners are kind and warm. Exceptional breakfast. Definitely will come back ^^

Nastanitev Oshi Ryokan se nahaja v mestu Nagano, 20 km od znamenitosti tempelj Zenkoji in 22 km od znamenitosti postaja Nagano, ter ponuja vrt, brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi in brezplačno... Nice and traditional place, the big family room was spacious and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Hosts are great: really kind and nice.

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Great central location, the Husband offered to drive to and from Yudanaka station and the monkey park. They both were really friendly and welcoming. The whole place felt more authentic than some other more touristy places.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. Very nice ryokan and great experience. Dinner and breakfast are amazing. Great onsen. Staff is amazingly nice. The owner has been very arranging and helpful, saving us time and logistics. We are very grateful and we really appreciated it. This was our best experience in Japan (!!!!)

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured.... We really liked Yudanaka Yasuragi. The owners did everything to make us feel comfortable—they picked us up from the train station, drove us to the monkey park the next day, and were generally very kind and eager to help. The food was amazing—you really can't miss the dinner they serve there; it was one of the best we had in Japan. The onsen is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. You should definitely visit this place!
