Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. They gave special care as we were on honeymoon. Enjoyed the great service. Free entry to the hillside with picnic mat and breakfast bento. Superb! They also helped us call for taxi and was overall very attentive.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. A very comfortable tatami-mat room with a deep full soak tub. The location in regards to Nara Park was fantastic and I had a wonderful view of Tōdai-ji in the mornings. Things were very quiet, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was everything it could be including walking me through all the amenities they had to offer. They also provided local area maps with all the main attractions and let me know how best to navigate what I wanted to do which helped quite a bit with planning how I spent my time.

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. The location, service, and surroundings are truly impressive. The hotel staff are absolutely delightful and go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcome and well cared for. Highly recommended. It was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Everything was great.Awesome experience.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... I would give 11 if I could. We loved the room (super spacious!), the amenities, the Japanese breakfast and dinner, the onsen, the amazing location and last but not least - they super nice staff.

Located just 1.8 km from Nara Station, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park provides accommodation in Nara with access to an open-air bath, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. If you want the authentic feel of a ryokan, this is the place. Nara Park is right next to the property, where you can feed the famous deer. The tatami beds are incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed drinks on the terrace with an amazing view. It was a pity that the Pagoda is currently under renovation, expected to be completed around 2033 — so if you book here, don’t be disappointed if you can’t see it. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Guesthouse Naramachi is set in Nara, 1.6 km from Nara Station and 20 km from Iwafune Shrine. The place is stunning and clean, the owner is a great man who helped me plan my trips and gave advice on what best to see during my short stay.
