Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 42 km of Shirakawa Station and 43 km of Komine Castle. Traditional and super well maintained traditional Japanese house, rooms really big hard to find in Japan maintaining the traditional style. Clean, so pretty the garden next to the river with all the birds you can imagine and the food was delicious and really traditional too, reach in protein! The outside Onsen was incredibly beautiful too and the bus literally drops you off right in front of the hotel entrance. Lastly, the hosts were so welcoming and nice.

The villa is so comfy and has everything we need. It is clean and has cute decoration. The location is only 10 minutes from Nikko station, and most important it is only 5 minutes to Family Mart 😄. Shrinko bridge can be reached by 15 minutes walk along the river in front of the villa

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views. Clean, very well located next to the main attractions of the town. Also the onsen was essentially private and you can use it only for 30 mins since other guests will use it too.

Situated in Nikko in the Tochigi region, with Tateiwa Kinu Hime Shrine and Kinugawa Onsen Fureai Bridge nearby, Nanaeyae features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot... Dinner n breakfast was well presented n delicious. Dinner was allocated at a private room which was nice n quiet. The lady manager came to say thank you in Japanese which we had difficulty to understand but it was a very warm gesture and made us feel happy. Booking.com should always offer plan with dinner n breakfast for onsen hotel in Japan. Having Japanese kaiseki dinner set at Nanae was an unforgettable experience. Arigato Nanae and specially to Sato san who help us to carry our luggage from a distance away at hotel entrance.

Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa is located next to Kinugawa River, just a 6-minute drive from Kinugawa Onsen Train Station. It features various entertainment facilities like karaoke and table tennis. L'hotel té les habitacions d'estil japonès amb futons per terra molt còmodes. La mida dels espais és molt gran i et fa viure una experiència molt agradable. L'onsen és perfecte per relazar-se al final del dia. Bon esmorzar i sopar de bufet, amb tot el que es pot desitjar per menjar. Personal molt amable.

Guest House Kuranomachi ゲストハウス蔵の街 is located in Tochigi and features a shared lounge. It is set less than 1 km from Tochigi Station and provides bicycle parking. Very friendly host, good location too!

Featuring mountain views and a terrace, Tsuganoki is situated in the Kinugawa Onsen district of Nikko, 19 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 20 km from Nikko Station. Everything was great. Special mention to great service by Murafat.
