Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. The whole experience was exceptional, the food magnificent, I would definitely recommend it and stay there again

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views. The owner greeted us with such helpful information. Onsen is exceptional - I was nervous about getting access but it was never a problem. Breakfast is great and very filling! Location is wonderful - right next to the Ganman-ga-fuchi abyss. Very peaceful, short walk to restaurants.

I don’t even know how to express our stay but this is one of the Ryokan that we have to thought about visiting again. Everything was perfect! This is the real Ryokan that we want to experience,The greetings welcoming , the hospitality, the food also delicious ! One more thing that’s really impressed us was that “Okami-San” came to visit us during the dinner, she really kind even though we don’t speak Japanese she tried to communicate with us. She also recognized one of my family members who his birthday just passed 2 days ago, she came to wishing him a birthday and when we checked out she also gifted him a birthday gift. Such a heart warming place. Oh forgot to mention the hotel, the Onsen has such a beautiful view not that big but no crowded at all! I think because they don’t accept that many guests per day which make us feel so relaxed and privacy. Every staff member are nice and kind.

Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa is located next to Kinugawa River, just a 6-minute drive from Kinugawa Onsen Train Station. It features various entertainment facilities like karaoke and table tennis. Good location, beautiful view from the room. Huuuuge hotel room with few rooms inside. It was comfortable to sleep on tatami. They have extension cord near tatami. Nearby lovely izakaya with tasty food. And the best part, you can grab yukata (???) and walk in this outside and inside

The bed was quite comfortable and the outdoor bath was wonderful. I also enjoyed the public onsen as well. The breakfast and dinner were extremely generous portion-wise and quite tasty.
