The hosts did a lot to accommodate us and gave a very good service. We received some tea on arrival and some nice gifts upon departure and during our stay we could taste local sake and plum wine.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. A beautiful retreat from the big city. I loved the short 5 minute walk to the ocean or a gorgeous walk along the Itoo river. The walk to the hostel was really lovely. I'll never forget sitting in the viewing area in our room as it rained under the moonlight.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JOYinn is located in Izu Kogen. There is a free shuttle pick-up and drop-off service available for guests from Izu-Kogen Station. This was beyond expectation, the owner speaks perfect English and picked us up at the station, we were greeted by two lovely dogs in the house and enjoyed fantastic sea view from our room! Will def come back if we’re visiting Ito again!

A very nice room with a sea view (all rooms in the hotel have this!), super clean and big, a very lively and friendly owner who also speaks English! The hotel is a little bizarre, you feel like you're in a film!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. My stay at Mozumo was a dream—a very relaxing experience. The private onsen in the room made everything very special. The room was big and comfortable. I would strongly recommend the dinner and breakfast experience. A shuttle picked us up from the bus station, which was helpful after a long trip.

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. Food, service, view and private hot springs were greate for the price. Extremely recommend this place!

Kawakamiya Kasuitei terletak 5 minit pemanduan dari Stesen Gero. Ia menawarkan bilik-bilik gaya tradisional Jepun yang menampilkan lantai tatami (tenunan jerami) dan mandian mata air panas di kawasan... Beautiful Ryokan in the area of Gero Onsen. We couldn't use the private onsen as it needs to be reserved in advance, however the public one was very good and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves in the evening. Exceptional multi-course dinner and breakfast with very good service. Convenient private parking right in front of the place. Very spacious and clean traditional ryokan room. Extremely kind and helpful staff. This was the best accomodation in our whole 3-weeks Japan trip!

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute... The 4 private onsens were great. Room was large and clean with great views. Staff was very helpful. Near bus stop and also you can do a nice hike to Joren falls.
