Ryokan Oyado Koto No Yume jest oddalony o 2 minuty spacerem od stacji kolejowej Takayama. Oferuje on urządzone w typowo japońskim stylu pokoje z kolorowymi akcentami dekoracyjnymi. The hosts did a lot to accommodate us and gave a very good service. We received some tea on arrival and some nice gifts upon departure and during our stay we could taste local sake and plum wine.

My second stay. Love the room that opens out to a small Japanese garden onto the river. Onsen on the property is so lovely. The lovely European girl who checked us in was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She stood out amongst the rest who were average. A beautiful stay in a very quiet desolate town. My favorite hostel due to its exceptional cleanliness and amenities.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JOYinn is located in Izu Kogen. There is a free shuttle pick-up and drop-off service available for guests from Izu-Kogen Station. This was beyond expectation, the owner speaks perfect English and picked us up at the station, we were greeted by two lovely dogs in the house and enjoyed fantastic sea view from our room! Will def come back if we’re visiting Ito again!

The hotel is a little bizarre, you feel like you're in a film!

Located a 5-minute drive from Gero Station, Kawakamiya Kasuitei offers traditional Japanese-style guestrooms featuring tatami (woven straw) flooring and hot spring baths in the Gero Onsen area. Staff was exceptionally kind and understanding despite our limited language skills. The outdoor onsen was very comfortable, and the room was wonderful to stay in.

The bed was just what I needed, the service was impeccable, the private onsen at night and the Kawadoko experience… I would go back in a heartbeat
