It was the best accommodation choice of our long trip through Sri Lanka. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-organized. There was a good shower with warm water and A/C, although to our surprise the ceiling fan at night was enough, it did a good job. The property is run by a lovely family who are very attentive to guests’ needs and requests. The owner is also a professional guide, so you can easily book a tour upon arrival. Breakfast very tasty, freshly cooked, and we really appreciated that we could be flexible with our breakfast time. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance and a supermarket nearby. It’s also an perfect base for visiting both mountains. Our only small regret was staying just one night in Sigiriya :)

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and spa centre, Jetwing Lake is set in Dambulla in the Matale District Region, 6 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. AMAZING view! The facilities were so clean, the food was delicious, and the staff was so kind. Our favorite attraction was the huge pool! Can’t wait to come back with my husband next summer!

The host family is really nice and with full of hospitality. The place is nature, I really like the wood house. It is clean, quiet with good location, close to the Lion Rock. The breakfast was fantastic, good place to try local food and local culture. It’s enjoyable to talk with the family. BTW, CASH only, so please prepare enough cash with you.

The room itself is simple but has everything you need. It’s cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up. Nothing fancy, but that’s part of its charm – it feels authentic and grounded. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a lovely way to start each day. Fresh, tasty, and prepared with care. For the price, this place is a fantastic value. It offers something truly special — a unique stay surrounded by nature, comfort in simplicity, and real relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway without breaking the bank.
