We got a welcome drink during check in, could get in our rooms a bit earlier than check in time, and the breakfast was amazing. Every morning it was a joy to go to breakfast and try typical Sri Lankan dishes. The hotel is a bit further (10 min walk) from the restaurants, it’s a walk on a dark street, but gives you the beauty of the seeing the stars. Or you can take a tuk tuk :-) Would come back at any time!

Room was clean and spacious. They asked about our favourite breakfast foods and tried to make them all! The nicest part was that they let us stay longer in our room because we had a late flight the next day. We really appreciated all of the wonderful hospitality.

Close to the main attractions, but for sure the most important thing was the hospitality of the host. He is truly “gold man”. He was extremely helpful in organising and checking the situation and status of everything just after the Ditwah cyclone, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was also delicious!

The room is perfect, Dinesh went so much out of his way to ensure we had the best possible experience the three nights we were there. The breakfast was amazing (you wouldn't believe how much food!) and they even cooked us dinner one night when we were exhausted and it was one of the best meals we had in the country. I'll be back!

Sigiri Lake Paradise tilbyr overnatting i Sigiriya og har en hage, en terrasse og en restaurant. Fra boenhetene har du utsikt over byen. Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!
