This is a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood convenient to public transportation. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. We especially liked the complimentary espresso machine in the lobby and the attentive 24 hour front desk. A good choice for arriving in the middle of the night and getting a good night's sleep. For those with fragrance sensitivities, this hotel does NOT have strong scents in the air or on the bedding, which can be challenging to find in Mexico City. Escandon is a nice neighborhood to stay in. There is a pharmacy, a bakery, a small grocery store, several shops, restaurants, and a large market in the immediate block around the hotel.
