The property has been remodeled since our last visit to include a separate restaurant area away from the bar. The addition of a Starbucks in the lobby was a boon for my wife. They really upped their breakfast game, too. Staff were friendly and accommodating as usual. We found out on the morning we checked out that the hotel offers a courtesy bus to and from the Male on between the hours of 08:30-01:00. We did that trip in Ubers so many times!

For the money, fantastic property. We stayed 10 days. Great size room, not plush but very comfortable. We had a lovely peek of the ocean and the docked cruise ships. The two daily water bottles were very welcome. Food and drinks by the pool fab. We enjoyed strolling the shops and having a drink in the centre. There are a couple of great restaurants right across the road - loved the Argentinian steak house and the Italian - and a delish food truck park a five minute walk away with a mix of cuisines, we especially liked the grill tacos, the margaritas were spot on too. Beach also a few minutes walk. Getting to the Marina, Malecon and the Romantic Zone was an easy Uber. The staff from reception to bar to housekeeping were outstanding. The property was clean, felt safe and was away from the busyness of the downtown areas so was very peaceful at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
