Tropicana Hotel Puerto Vallarta rooms feature cable TV and a private bathroom. I have rated this as Exceptional because of the location, the views, the friendly staff, the nice pool area, great beach and overall comfort of the room and beds. We stayed in a Junior Suite, it was about twice the size of a standard room. While the room and the hotel are not luxurious, it was very clean, right on the beach, and walking distance to many great restaurants, the Romantic Zone, the Malecon, and Centro PV. The kitchen was minimally provisioned to allow basic cooking.
