It's so nice to see a great eco hotel that takes care of turtles that you can feed. The food was excellent, nice and quiet without any kids around. You must visit the on-site ice shop there, it is like art deco. Also of course the salt cave is a must not miss while visiting there. There no TVs in the room, which was a nice change, you connect more to your surroundings and l9ved ones. The onsite restaurant has great prices and great tasing food. I'd say the prices are better then the dowtown area

Each air-conditioned room at Casa Tia Micha has modern décor. All rooms have flat-screen cable TV and a minibar. This hotel was beautiful and the staff were beyond amazing. We got sick just before we arrived in Valladolid and the staff at Tia Micha went above and beyond to look after us. Great location right by the town square. Beautiful breakfasts in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

The facilities are amazing, the staff is very welcoming and kind, if you stay here you will find a peaceful environment located in a safe area (all Valladolid is cozy and safe) and the staff speaks perfect English if you're not a Spanish speaker (I am Mexican but traveled with a non Spanish speaker). As a national I found all visitors from other countries got the right idea that this is a place for tranquility and relaxation rather than just partying and hecticness. I would definitely come back here.

The property has many trees so even in the heavy Merida heat it is very comfortable to relax and the little pool is perfect to refresh. Breakfast is delicious and with a variety every day. My absolute favorite: the cinnamon rolls! Location is close to the center, yet really quiet at night.
