We were also delighted by the polite and professional staff: Kimberley, señor Miguel, señor Fabian, señor Jorge, señor Juan Jose and the rest of the team. The breakfast what was included in the price was exceptional as well. The hotel is known in the city for their breakfast and every morning lot of locals come just to eat here.

Attractively set in the centre of Mérida, Hotel Luz en Yucatan features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. Realy great staff and the whole building was nice and clean. Breakfast was super tasty. All in all a great place to stay in the middle of the city.

Located in the magical town of Valladolid, Yucatan, the Real Haciendas hotel is locateds, a picturesque, cozy hotel with a charming touch. Amazing place! It's about a 15 min walk to the bus station and just near the Zaci cenote. It's very clean and quiet. And the staff was so great that allowed us to use our pool towels for travel to cenotes after we checked out from the hotel.

Offering free WiFi, this Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta is located on Mejorada square and 230 metres from Museo De la Canción Yucateca and just a few blocks from the Cathedral, market and Paseo Montejo. We had a fabulous stay at La Piazzetta, the hotel is beautiful, clean and has a lot of charm! It's really well situated so we could do most of the city by foot. Leo, María and Augustin are fantastic hosts and we felt very welcome. Leo is super knowledgeable about the area and gave us the best tips for Merida and around, and even for the rest of our trip, we discovered many hidden cenotes thanks to him :) A thousand times recommend!

Posada Ya´ax Ich is set in Izamal and has a garden and a terrace. Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the 2-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Really nice hotel. Very clean, spacious, good wifi, amazing garden and pool area. 15 minute walk to the center of Izamal.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free breakfast, the Diplomat Hotel is located within Mérida's historic centre, 1 km from the Plaza Grande Park and 800 metres from the Zoo. I loved the feel of this boutique hotel and the decor of my suite, adding a touch of rustic elegance. The vegeterian breakfast was a spread of delights with a Mexican twist, with the sound of a pool waterfall as the perfect morning backdrop. The owners, a friendly Australian couple, not only extended a personal welcome to each guest, but were on hand (via WhatsApp) to give tips and guidance on things to do (and avoid). All staff were fabulous, and I need to give Mel a shout-out who looked after me exceptionally well. The hotel is a keeper and I may well go back to Merida just to stay here again.

Located in Valladolid's town centre, Hotel Posada San Juan has an outdoor pool, terraces and gardens to offer to its guests. Friendly and attentive staff, tasty breakfast, refreshing pool in a plant-filled courtyard, its own parking lot for easy ingress and egress, and comfy hammock in our room. The decorations in the common areas and rooms were particularly impressive.
