Nice spacey family suite, perfect for our family with 3 teenagers. Staff were very supportive. Somewhat small but very nice pool. All in all a very good hotel option. Supermarket(s) within a few hundred meters.

Perched on top of a hill, this resort is surrounded by the tropical rainforests of Borneo. The room was clean and very spacious. View of the forest was great as long as you chose not to look at the parking lot 🥹 Air conditioner worked very well. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely go back to use the amenities as well. Restaurant was ok, dulled down flavours but as it was pouring rain it made it very convenient to have that option. Staff were absolutely lovely. Location was easy for cab to find.

Das Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu erwartet Sie inmitten eines Naturschutzgebiets mit Blick auf das Südchinesische Meer. Das Zimmer sah sehr schön aus, mit guter Ausstattung. Die Klimaanlage hat immer gut funktioniert, sowie auch die Dusche. Das personal war immer sehr freundlich, professionell und zuvorkommend. Die Aussicht von unserem Zimmer war wunderschön. Die verschiedenen Restaurants haben alle leckere Gerichte und das frühstücks buffet hatte auch leckere Sachen und meiner Meinung etwas für jeden Geschmack. Der Strand ist wunderschön, sowie auch die pools und das Ressort gibt viele Vorschläge für andere spannende Aktivitäten. Das Roomservice Menü war auch sehr vielfältig und das essen war immer lecker.

Die Unterkunft Kinabalu Valley Guesthouse ist gelegen in Kundasang und bietet einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und Grillmöglichkeiten. Die Unterkunft hat Bergblick. Hotel itself is great, you have everything to cook. Shared toilets/hot shower are clean with toilet paper. The rooms have super view and are big enough. The real highlight is Ben, the host. Before we even arrived, he helped us arrange the transportation giving us advice on how to come. We arrived at 23:30 and he was waiting us, gave us information about the guesthouse and what to do arround. He also provided us with lot of contacts: scooter rental, private driver... If you come and stay here, you won't be bored :)

The family room was spacious and comfortable. Shower had hot water. Also there was a kitchen if you want to cook something. We didn’t cook, there’s a restaurant close by within walking distance serving traditional Sabahan cuisine which was nice.

Overall the hotel was nice, clean and a great place for us to take a rest. Actually we only checked in for a few hours since our flight was delayed. But still the hotel is great. They give us side by side room as per requested. The view is also nice. The hotel is just beside zus coffee and tealive. Very near to restaurants, pharmacies, cafes, etc.
