Surrounded by dunes and just minutes from the island’s widest beach, this welcoming hotel offers the tranquillity and facilities needed for a relaxing holiday or weekend get-away. Excellent staff, and marvelous equipment of the entire building. The restaurant even has a real fireplace with wood. The chef was amazing too.

Hotel De Walvisvaarder lies exactly in the centre of the beautiful Dutch island Terschelling. Perfect location for us. Very pleasant and helpful staff - most spoke very good English. Lovely food in the restaurant, great bar area and comfy longer sofas. Bike hire was a real bonus.

The WestCord Hotel Schylge is located in the village of West-Terschelling, right along the harbor. Breakfast superb. A lot of choice great quality

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

This bungalow park overlooks the forest and dunes of West-Terschelling, a 5-minute walk from the beach. Dellewal offers modern holiday bungalows with a private terrace, free Wi-Fi and private parking.... Cosy, well laid out, new kitchen and comfortable furniture. Location is excellent, close to wonderful dune area, and great walking and biking routes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and makes one feel at home immediately.

Hotel Altijd Wad is a small and comfortable hotel in the heart of West Terschelling. The hotel is located at the foot of the lighthouse and offers free Wi-Fi. Nice and quite location in the center of west-Terschelling
