We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the fjord and mountains. The facilities were spotless and everything felt fresh and well cared for.

Reaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyyyy great experience of restaurant + stay. The staff is really nice and helpful. The surroundings are BEAUTIFUL and VERY CALM. It’s soothing and very much relaxing.

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.

Excellent place to stay We wanted easy accessibility to fjord nearby and the location is very good. Coming to the place it had everything from equipped kitchen to hot water and good beds. I was traveling with my older parents and toddlers and they were very comfortable. If you want to visit nearby by spots and fjord this is perfect place to stay. We checked in late night and host was responding to queries very late hours which was such a help for us. We loved the stay a neat and clean, spacious place to stay.

The house was very comfortable and spacious, clean and the kitchen was well thought of! You can also walk around the area and the views were amazing. The communual areas were spotless and I am so happy that I have booked this. I will be coming back here and stay longer to visit areas of the Hardangerfjord.
