Goats and sheep right outside, Herand village is in a very beautiful location and just 20 minutes by foot. But the best thing is the owners who are genuine and lovely people.

Loved the charm and character of the building and its location. Superb view of the fjord and the beautiful town. Staff very friendly and co-operative, and while I appreciate that we chose to be in the older part of the building, there could have been an offer to carry bags for older visitors.

A really special place with a very welcoming and nice staff. We spent only one night there but it was so cozy that it felt longer, almost like home. The interior attracts intention. And the breakfast!!!! The best on our trip - with pankakes, so yummy!
