Grotli Høyfjellshotell is a historical hotel, built in 1905 and is located just off the scenic road Gamle Strynefjellsvegen and close to the famous Geriangerfjord. The place exceeded our expectations. We arrived late in the evening and there was no problem with check-in or parking place. It is situated in a quite place with wonderful nature views around.

Everything was great - lansacape, quiet neighbourhood, cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by one more day. It was very pleasant. House was spacious and comfortable, very clean.

Located close to Dovre National Park, Dovregubbens Hall offers apartments in traditional Gudbrands style buildings in Vålåsjø. Oppdal is 49 km away. We loved this stay! Room was very clean and very cozy. Loved the view from the balcony. Host was super kind and helpful. The restaurant on the property was DELICIOUS. We especially loved the breakfast! Highly recommend this one!

The hotel is centrally located, you can easily walk the town. The hotel also has underground parking garage which was convenient with snow. Hotel provides breakfast and dinner which was delicious everyday. Hotel was about 10-15 minute drive to Hafjell for skiing!
