Located by the Tromsdalselva River, this property is just 5 minutes’ drive from Tromsø city centre. It offers cottages with private patios and kitchen facilities. WiFi and parking are free. Very cosy house. I was during Winter and it was realy warm inside. Recommending.

Featuring a sky bar and rooftop terrace on the 11th-floor, this central Tromsø hotel is located at the harbour, overlooking Tromsø Sound and the Arctic Cathedral. Nice hotel in a beautiful place, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful personnel. Highly recommended. By the way restaurant is very good there. Definitely try local dish of the day. There are more facilities there, like gym, etc., but we didn't try them.

Situated in central Harstad, Scandic Harstad offers free Wi-Fi access and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Harstad harbour is 200 metres away. Location, room, breakfast was all so amazing. Especially thanks to the very kind receptionist!

Gleznainā krastmalas vietā esošā viesnīca Scandic Ishavshotel atrodas Trumsē, ko nereti dēvē par ziemeļu reģiona Parīzi. No viesnīcas paveras iespaidīgs skats uz ostu un pilsētu. We paid the bit extra to get a room with a view over the river and would highly recommend you do this. The view changed constantly and was superb. The room was warm but not too hot. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. You can choose if and when you want your room cleaned and we found the cleaners to be very helpful and would slot you in for a time convenient to you. The shower gave instant hot water from either an overhead giant head or an alternative lower flexible head. Soap and shampoo were in fixed dispensers on the walls. The room was equipped with cups and a kettle with a Twinings tea selection (you could take tea from the downstairs breakfast bar to to personalize your room selection). There was a small fridge in the room so you could keep fresh milk for your hot drinks. Breakfast was literally the best buffet I have ever experienced with all the usual hot and cold foods and some more Norwegian style foods. The hotel is centrally situated and all our booked excursions left from either outside the hotel or within a two minute walk. Our weather was terrible (rain every day) so we were so glad we had our cosy room with the huge window so we could enjoy watching the fishing boats and cruise ships while the rain lashed down. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. We had room 454.
