This is not a big luxurious hotel chain. It is a very modest comfortable establishment with friendly staff and an friendly old Dog. I loved the place. It was exactly what I needed. I could even help myself with a coffee and a cookie, free of charge.

Everything about this place was excellent. It is in a great location, easy walking to everything in town. Be sure to check out the Whaling Museum (Slottsfjellsmuseet), just a few blocks away, with its many enormous whale skeletons and other exhibits on the history of the region. The hotel room was good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrific with a large variety of offerings. The hotel has an on-site underground garage for self parking. While the parking fee was expensive ( NOK 420 per night), it was extremely convenient. (It also looked like there were some other public lots across the street and in the neighborhood that may be less pricey, especially for longer stays) Overall we had a great stay and recommend the Hotel Klubben as an excellent choice in Tønsberg.
