Our stay at Punta del Norte was honestly incredible from start to finish. This place is special, but what truly made it unforgettable were the people. First and foremost: Darwin. Just wow. Darwin is an absolute gem. His service was beyond professional. He was warm, proactive, attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely cared that we were having the best possible experience. His drinks were amazing (truly some of the best algarrobinas we ever had), and he somehow always knew exactly what we wanted before we even asked. You can tell he loves what he does, and that energy makes such a difference. We also want to mention Señor Percy, who was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel comfortable and well taken care of from the beginning. Everything at Punta del Norte felt thoughtful, calm, and beautifully done. We felt relaxed, spoiled, and genuinely grateful for the care we received. This was not just a hotel stay, it was an experience, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing staff. We are 100% coming back. Huge thank you to the whole team, and especially to Darwin. This place has our hearts.

Located in the city centre, only 2 blocks from the main square, Hotel Wyndham Costa del Sol Tumbes is within the first complex Hotel - Mall and offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Very friendly and patient staff considering I didn't speak Spanish. Sometimes the restaurant service could be faster outside of the breakfast service. Nice to have a pool and the gym was quiet. Very clean and in a good, central location. The staff were helpful when I went on a tour to the National park - they took note of the hours I would be gone and spoke to the person leading the tour. Made me feel looked after! Also no problem for them to get you a taxi and the doorman was exceptional, very friendly. I'd had a busy few weeks and this stop allowed me to relax and I enjoyed the hotel so much I spent a lot of my time there!
