Everything was fantastic. 50 peso trike ride to the center of Coron and then back to pure quiet and luxury. Beautiful pool view and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are the most caring and cheerful people we’ve ever encountered and very attentive. A special mention to Mike at the front desk. He is a superstar. I hope these people get well taken care of by the owner because we will definitely come back because of them. The beds are very comfortable and lots of pillows too!

Offering views of the mountain, Vela Terraces Hotel is situated in Coron City, 6 km from Kayangan Lake. The property has a sun terrace and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. I really liked the location, the staff is super attentive and responsive, there is a restaurant in the hotel. We booked tours, a ferry and a taxi ride to the port, did laundry, ate and had drinks at Velas. They take credit card payments and are very flexible if you want to extend your stay or if you need anything. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Corong Bancuang Mansion. Our ferry from El Nido to Coron got cancelled due to bad weather and we got the slow boat instead. Upon arrival at the hotel, they surprised us with a free upgrade to the presidential suite! What a sweet surprise! There's no elevator, you need to walk until the top floor, but the room and the view was worth it. The room was huge! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Their food at the restaurant was also delicious. Their staff are friendly and accomodating. Location is around 10 minutes walk to the main strip. We loved our stay at Coron Bancuang Mansion. If/when we come back to Coron, we'll definitely stay here again. It's a beautiful hotel that showcases Filipino roots from the wooden handcrafted displays to the furnishings.
