Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Best experience I had staying in a hotel, I can't wait to come back. Everything was perfect and the hotel itself is so beautiful. The room was very spacious, comfortable, they even offer you a pillow menu so you can be as comfortable as possible. Every night they leave a tea table ready for you. The food is really good and we enjoyed every minute!

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. Excellent location, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food atrodas vēsturiskā lauku mājā, un no tās paveras skats uz gleznaino Douro upes ieleju. Viesnīcu ieskauj dārzs un vīna dārzi. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The location was remote but perfect for a getaway. Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Local village about 10 minute drive away with a number of restaurants available. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Quinta de S.Bernardo - Winery & Farmhouse is offering accommodation in Mesão Frio. Among the various facilities are a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared lounge. This place is absolutely magical. The property is stunning, but it's the character of the place and the vibe that made it special to me. You feel pampered and in a luxury environment without it being stuffy. You can casually meander down to the river and grab a kayak, take some yoga mats to the deck, or take bikes out and head to the nearest vineyard. Plus excellent food, service, and views. They got all of the details just right.

Offering an outdoor pool and hot tub, Douro Suites is situated in Baião in the Norte Region Region, 43 km from Porto. The accommodation boasts a spa bath. Guimarães is 41 km away. The view is amazing. Basically every thing looks great, you feel tranquil all the time. It was perfect. We upgraded to the premium room so it was wonderful.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of garden, Quinta Da Marka is situated in Covas do Douro, 33 km from Douro Museum. Special place! I searched for something traditional, but with splash of luxury and modern things. It definitely is the place - feels like home, has its traditional Douro quinta vibe and, at the same time, the rooms, bathrooms are modern. You have the magnificent view from everywhere - the room, the pool, restaurant, backyard! The traditional portuguese cuisine here is tasty, the service is exceptional - Angela is the best, she’s magically appears everywhere you need her help! The rest of the team are very friendly and helpful!

Set in Alpendurada, Quinta de VillaSete features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain and pool views. Everything was beautiful! It’s a 800 year old building but in pristine and very chique furniture & design. It has recent expansion and it is top quality walls, bedroom & bathroom. The view from rooms, lounge, patio, pool, and dining room is pristine like a painting. The owner and those that work there are incredibly friendly, kind & accommodating. We felt like they were family’s The dinner, wine & desserts were top of the line. I highly recommend the place and if ever visiting Portugal, will stay again!
