Especially japanese type rooftop restaurant very good. Easy access from the hotel to the pools.

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Perfect location with clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly, helpful and great with kids.

Set in Funchal, 17 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta Paços do Lago offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. At bygningen/eiendommen hadde en sjarm! At det var parkeringsplass, det var utrolig rent på rommet, men også ute på eiendommen. Likte godt bassenget og at det var balkong med en utrolig utsikt. Personalet var veldig serviceinnstilte! De kom med forslag til turer.

We loved it here. It was beautiful.. the room was spacious, clean, modern. The items available for breakfast were perfect.. fresh bread and eggs. Kitchen had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous, along with the view. Close enough to the highway to get around the island. Only wish it had been a bit warmer to swim in the pool!

An old, very original house, owned by a branch of the Blandy family (I am told the last of the family run wineries on the island), is full of old world colonial charm. Set high on the hill overlooking Funchal this is a real gem and a welcome change to the bland more expensive hotels in the heart of the city. An easy taxi or bus ride from the centre it has parking, great views and delightful grounds. Run by the ever helpful Margarida if you can put up with its few idiosyncrasies I can’t recommend it highly enough. A breath of fresh air.

Veldig rolig område langt i fra haigen med turister. Her finner du fred og ro. Alt som du trenger er til stede. Hyggelig vertskap. Fantastisk terrasse hvor du kan se solen, gå ned i havet. Veldig lett å komme til flere steder, som er verdt et besøk.
