She took care of everything we needed - and we got bananas and fig jam from the garden. She was the best host we could have ever asked for! :)

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, Quinta do Espírito Santo is a country house set in a historic building in Angra do Heroísmo, 2.9 km from Negrito Beach. I spent 20 days in the Azores. but the best came at the end. I was allowed to spend 3 nights at Quinta do Espirito Santa with Lucilia and Francisco Maduro slides. I was allowed to spend my stay in a beautiful outbuilding of the Quinta. The house and the rooms in it are lovingly furnished. You are transported to another distant time. But the two hosts are definitely the highlight. I have never experienced such warm hosts. A hearty breakfast with many local specialties was served in the main building. The two gentlemen had a lot to tell and gave me an old insight into life on the Azorn and Terceira. We especially liked the conversations with Francisco. I was able to take away and learn a lot from his knowledge as a history professor. I highly recommend Quinta do Espirito Santo as a place to stay. The hosts receive 1000 points from me. The Costa Apartmentos are situated in a privileged position, above the Angra Do Heroismo Bay, in Terceira Island. Costa was incredibly helpful! And the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well - they we willing to help us with directions, taxi service and such.
