Huoneet olivat tilavat ja siistit ja henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä. Hotellin ravintolan ruoka oli erinomaista ja ravintolassa huomioitiin lapset todella hyvin. Vastaanotosta kerrottiin, että hotelli on karhuturvallinen eikä lähistöllä näkynytkään yhtään karhua (joita muuten tuli tiellä paljon vastaan 😊). Suosittelen paikkaa lämpimästi!

Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities and views of inner courtyard, Pensiunea Dealu Morii is located in Cîrţişoara, 38 km from Făgăraș Fortress. Such a fun and incredibly friendly host! He was truly welcoming and flexible, even though we were a bit late. He greeted us warmly and helped us with local tips on things to see and great places to eat. And once those gates open... it's a whole different experience!

It is a very clean, nice location for kids with a beautiful yard both for kids with a playground but also for grown ups to relax. Kitchen with all facilities, including dish washing machine

Featuring garden views, Belvedere La Cristina features accommodation with patio, around 10 km from Vidraru Dam. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Great location to start the transfagarasan route, hosts are really friendly. Gave me tips about the route, made an amazing dinner. This was my first night in Romania and I felt so welcome!

Set in Cîrţişoara, 38 km from Făgăraș Fortress, Casa Mosului - Transfăgărășan Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. Fantastic accommodation: the house is cozy, very well decorated with a rustic interior, the room was confortable. We loved the garden with its lounge chairs and hammocks to rest and relax. The host was lovey and we really felt like at home. We really enjoyed the dinners we had there: the chef cooked a unique menu with main dish and desert, and started the meals with a shot of local liquors. Every day it was absolutely delicious and the servings were generous. The location is also perfect: about a mn away from the iconique Transfagarasan road. We highly recommend this accommodation and wished we had stayed longer.

In a quiet and scenic location at 1,200 metres above sea level, Hotel-Restaurant Siesta Balea is located in Piscul Negru on the Transfagarasan National Road. A very nice place to stay in the mountains. Extremely close by car to Lake Balea (about 15-20 min drive) and the highest part of Transfagarasan. Fresh air, comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. There is a relatively large parking lot, sufficient for all guests. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can have dinner or lunch.

Located just 41 km from Cozia AquaPark, Pensiunea Dandu provides accommodation in Corbeni with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.

Located in Arefu, next to the Transfăgărăşan mountain road, Pensiunea Bella Vista offers rooms with TVs. The on-site restaurant offers Romanian specialties and international dishes. This place had wonderful rooms, we had our own balcony, the beds were big and comfortable. The location was easy to find and not too far of a walk to the Vlad the Impaler fortress.

Boasting a tennis court, barbecue facilities and views of river, Pensiunea Eden is located in Bărăşti, 24 km from Vidraru Dam. Very good atmosphere, village reminded about childhood. Very nice owner family, nice hospitality and friendly. BBQ zone is available.
