Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. The location is excellent! It´s close to the city center and next to a gorgeous park that we enjoyed exploring every day. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were big and the staff was extremely kind and helpful - especially Alexandra from Reception :) Springtime is especially beautiful there

This place is tucked away so you feel like you're in the woods, but within walking distance to town. The owner was super friendly and clearly wanted to make our stay nice. She gave us great restaurant suggestions and was ready in the morning with coffee and tea.

Featuring a restaurant and a seasonal outdoor pool, Hotel Central offers accommodation in Călimăneşti, a few steps from Cozia AquaPark. Supportive personal. We arrived late and allow us to enjoy the outside hot pool, even if was closed. The rooms and restaurant were renovated. Decent accommodation at a good price.
