We couldn't have been happier to be welcomed by Annika after a long day on the bike. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need to cook. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast! The last stretch of road up to the farm isn't suitable for road bikes, but it's not too far to walk. Thanks Annika for being flexible and letting us in late!

Boasting garden views, Farmors Lada provides accommodation with patio, around 20 km from Varberg Train Station. Thomas was such a gracious host and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderful and the accommodations were very cozy.

Apelvikstrand Strandhus offers modern, self-catering holiday homes next to Apelvik Beach, 3 km south of central Varberg. Each accommodation has a furnished patio, kitchenette and flat-screen TV. There was really nothing not to like. I did experience a little difficult checking in as it was late and dark, and signage leaves a little to be desired. I have to take partial blame though, as if I had read my emails properly I would have realised there was an app to download that helped matters. The cottages are unpretentious but very nice, the location is unbeatable if scenery is your preference, and I had the good fortune to visit in the off-season making my stay great value. I fully expect the prices to be dramatically different in the high season though.

This B&B is located in a historical fortress in Varberg. The accommodation is set in what once was a bakery, hospital and prison. Amazing accommodation in a beautiful location. Extremely nice people. Exceptional (in a good way) interior (earplugs advised as it echoes in the prison building).
