The host went out of her way to organise food and a taxi for us in the morning - even though the taxi office was closed. The freshly baked (still warm) bread at breakfast was outstanding. Good WiFi.

The accommodation is comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was good, and the dinner was truly excellent. This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Great Hotel at great location. Extremely friendly and helpful team. Parking, several restaurants and bars nearby (1-2 min walk). Breakfast was very good. If you like to visit Karlstad this Hotel is my recommendation.

Quietly situated in Lidköping's old town, this hotel is 350 metres from Lidköping Train Station. It features a restaurant and a smaller exercise room. Sauna access, WiFi and tea/coffee are all free. Easily best stay I've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly. Great communication regarding breakfast and holiday hours. I travelled during Christmas and there was a little note and chocolate Santa Clause in my room waiting for me. The room was also nicely decorated with a very cosy feeling. The location was superb; walking distance to everything.
