Timmy and Dear was waiting for me, ready to help me with my luggage.I had an ice tea served as a welcome drink.Villa Mungkala felt like a home away from home! Timmy took very good care of me,she even walked me on a little tour of the neighbourhood.And she made sure to lend me her umbrella since it looked like it would rain.The breakfast was delicious.They have a menu to choose from. I had homemade pancakes with almonds, bananas, pineapple and papaya on the side. The coffee was delicious as well.Fruits and muffins,tea and coffee was available all day. There was a mini fridge.I also loved the neighbourhood.Youre in a small lane, off the main,very local,very friendly.It was very quiet.You are in walking distance of the Emerald temple, the temple of the Reclining Buddha.The Grand Palace and more. I am sure to return!

Offering views of the Chao Phraya River, Avani Plus Riverside Bangkok Hotel features rooms with a blend of contemporary and modern styles. We loved our spacious room with a panoramic view of the river and both rainfall and hand-held shower heads with fabulously hot water. The housekeeping service was fantastic as was the reception services. Their breakfast, which was included in our package was plentiful, fresh and scrumptious. Ice, the concierge that assisted us in managing our tours was fantastic. The hotel’s rooftop pool had a champagne bar and a restaurant and lounge. The gym was good and was 24 hours. Overall definitely a perfect 10.
