Everything was perfect! The hotel is right on the beach, the place is surrounded by large trees, so there’s plenty of shade. It’s relatively small, so doesn’t get too busy. The hotel is looked after meticulously. The staff were super friendly. It was also nice that we can just book food, massages and anything extra to our room, so did not need to carry a wallet full of cash. Also, there’s a dive shop, so easy to go diving if you want to. 7-eleven and number of good local restaurants is just couple of minutes walk away. The beach is also very shallow (much shallower than the north side of the same beach), so very good with small children.

Lanta Happy Hill is a local family-run resort surrounded by greenery and lush gardens. Lanta Happy Hill is a convenient 5-minute walk to Pra Ae Beach. Amazing place in the middle of the jungle though just few minutes from the restaurants and beaches. Peaceful surroundings, comfortable and big room, unbeatable hospitality and tasty breakfast! 120% would repiet!

A very relaxing place. Beautiful, open and clean beach, and gorgeous pool setting and rooms. Not crowded and very peaceful. The staff were also so kind and very accommodating.

The included breakfast is light but a nice way to start the day. On-site scooter rental (250 baht) was very convenient, and they were flexible about letting us decide how many days to rent. If you are looking to book a tour, check with them first. They’ll handle the booking and you pay them, and we found it cheaper than booking at one of those tourist shops. The rooms are large and spacious - the under bed LED lights were a nice touch! Water, towels, soap, and cotton swabs were replenished each day. Note that there is no shampoo / conditioner provided. Overall a wonderful stay and would do it again!

Located on the lively Lanta Island, New Coconut Bungalow is a 3-minute walk from Klong Khong Beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool, private beach area and standalone bungalows with a balcony. Everything located together, perfect for a family. Restaurant, pool and beach all close together. We were lucky to have the closest room to the pool area, so the baby monitor good reach all the way down to the beach. But the rooms farest away, can be difficult to reach with a monitor. The beach is very family friendly with shades in the morning have small pools and stones when low tide. The staff was exceptional sweet and helpful. We were there 14 days and the got to now our kids very well. The resort is close to the main street where there is 7/11, grocery shops and street food in the evening you can bring to the room. Big and well equipped play room for kids.
