My family absolutely loved this place. We were so touched to learn that the cabins, furniture, and even the pottery were all handmade by Uncle (the husband) himself. Both Uncle and Aunty were incredibly kind and warm. They booked a tuk-tuk for us, and Aunty gave us a map each day with tips on where to find good food, the nearest 7/11, and the best spots to catch the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was served daily and featured local food and fruits freshly harvested from their organic garden— sooo good! I even had the best tea of my life at this property. There’s wildlife around, so don’t panic if you hear noises on your roof at night—it’s all part of the experience. The cabins were very clean, cozy, and full of character. If we could stay here forever, we would. Uncle was especially kind to my son—he took him around the property to find frogs and even catch fish in the pond. (Edit to add) The Wi-Fi in the first two rooms closest to their main house is excellent. Three of us worked online for over 8 hours a day, and the connection was solid the entire time.

I loved staying at the Happiness Resort, it is located close to nature and beautiful countryside roads with views on hills and temple ruins. The historical center is easily accessible, yet you are away from the noise and touristic vibes. I personally enjoyed cycling around. The resort’s garden is a highlight, full of greenery details, it’s a perfect place for self-retreat or meditation, or to relax. Very clean and comfortable room and amenities. The owners are kind and welcoming! I would have liked to stay longer!

Situated a 1.1 km drive from the Sukhothai Historical Park, Scent of Sukhothai Resort is a peaceful resort with comfortable rooms and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available in the rooms. This resort is an oasis just blocks from the Main Street in old Sukhothai. Rooms and balcony are very nice. Pool was great to cool off in. The staff keep everything very clean and all is well maintained. Breakfast was delicious! Rent a bike to tour the historical park and surrounding ruins.

Tharaburi Resort offers a cultural and tranquil retreat away from the city. Set amid a lush tropical landscape, Tharaburi offers comfortable accommodation with friendly service. We loved the look, the vibe and and comfiness of our room (Triple Room with balcony). The private deck was a pleasant bonus! We enjoyed hanging out there and watching the fish in the pond. Very relaxing! The hotel staff were pleasant & courteous. Mr. Wattana of Front Desk was very warm, friendly and helpful. He even recommended to use the free bicycles of the resort and to try some nearby restaurant and attractions. We enjoyed the recommended weekend Sukhothai Street Market. Definitely going back next year for the Loi Krathong Festival!
