Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, Acadia Inn has an on-site trail that accesses the park. Great location to bar harbor and the national park. Lots of snacks most days - such as DIY trail mix and smores at night. So many available we didn't even get to make use of them all! The room was spacious. No complaints!

Every corner is filled with thoughtful details, charming decorations, and old photographs that bring the culture and history of the place to life. I stayed in a room with a beach view, and it was absolutely unforgettable. I stepped out through a big glass door almost straight onto the sand and was lucky enough to catch the sunrise—astonishingly beautiful. My early walk on the beach was one of the most memorable moments of my whole trip, and the photos I took are incredible. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the free breakfast was exceptional. Their famous lemon muffins truly deserve the hype—so, so good. My only regret is that I stayed just one night. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a perfect stay, and I’d return in a heartbeat.
