Located in Colonia del Sacramento’s historic area, Posada Plaza Mayor offers panoramic views. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided. Puerta de la Ciudadela gateway is 100 metres away. I think this is one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed in. The front entrance opens onto a beautiful courtyard with gorgeous flowers hanging everywhere. There was something quite enchanting about the narrow doors and old stone walls, the lovely seating areas dotted inside and out and the stunning river views from the airy dinning room. We all absolutely loved everything about this hotel and we're sorry our stay was so short!

With a red-tiled Spanish gallery overlooking the swimming pool, this colonial-style inn in Uruguay features free WiFi access in the entire property. Super friendly staff, great location and vibe. The pool is excellent and good breakfast. The AC works very well, the bathroom is big and comfortable. Uruguayans are very very kind people, and the people in this hotel go far beyond to make your stay easy and cozy. Love to be hear for new year!

This hotel was hard to find, covered with trees and plants, very well hidden in a thick forest, at the end of a three lined alleyway. But when we got there, we were greeted welcome by Mario, one of the owners, he showed us around, inside and outside, and we instantly felt very much at home in this very special hotel! Cosy warm fire wood heaters in the living room and dining room, a/c in the bedrooms, making it very comfortable in the chilly evenings and mornings. The two dining rooms had large oval tables, where we would socialize with other guests, enjoying long breakfasts and dinners with wine, while Sergio, the other owner, and architect of this special house, together with Mario, told us the history of the hotel and give us a lot of information about the area, with ideas as to what else to explore. Outside this unique hotel there is a large park, ideal to enjoy walks and rest in the natural surroundings. A truly great please to stop for a couple of days, hope to be back soon!

Set in Colonia del Sacramento in the Colonia Region, Dazzler by Wyndham Colonia offers beachfront accommodation with a spa centre. Anchorena National Park is 20 km away. The property was in one of the best locations. The options for breakfast were also fantastic.
