A great hotel for a night or two in Colonia. Helpful staff, kind and well run. The breakfast choice is ok but not exceptional.

With a red-tiled Spanish gallery overlooking the swimming pool, this colonial-style inn in Uruguay features free WiFi access in the entire property. The staff was friendly and always pleasant. The entire place had a fab vibe. We spent six days here and immensely enjoyed the experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again - old-fashioned charm and hospitality.

Just a really comfortable, quite palce to enjoy the town.

This hotel was hard to find, covered with trees and plants, very well hidden in a thick forest, at the end of a three lined alleyway. But when we got there, we were greeted welcome by Mario, one of the owners, he showed us around, inside and outside, and we instantly felt very much at home in this very special hotel! Cosy warm fire wood heaters in the living room and dining room, a/c in the bedrooms, making it very comfortable in the chilly evenings and mornings. The two dining rooms had large oval tables, where we would socialize with other guests, enjoying long breakfasts and dinners with wine, while Sergio, the other owner, and architect of this special house, together with Mario, told us the history of the hotel and give us a lot of information about the area, with ideas as to what else to explore. Outside this unique hotel there is a large park, ideal to enjoy walks and rest in the natural surroundings. A truly great please to stop for a couple of days, hope to be back soon!

Breakfast had fresh fruits and, despite there were no tipical eggs and buffet, it was not advertised like that as well, it was super complete. Amenities on the place where nice, you can get tea or coffee at any time and there is a common space I used for working that it was just perfect for it. Location is ideal and the garden is super nice to have tea or coffee outside. Everything was extremely clean.

Set in Colonia del Sacramento in the Colonia Region, Dazzler by Wyndham Colonia offers beachfront accommodation with a spa centre. Anchorena National Park is 20 km away. The room was spacious, with a great balcony and beautiful view. Breakfast was very good, and the staff extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, and it’s ideal to relax and work.
