My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay at this nice place located in Gerupuk, Lombok. The room was generally clean and felt pretty cozy. The on-site restaurant provided a variety of tasty and affordable meals throughout the day. What truly stood out was the owner's exceptional English and helpful nature. We spent most of our days surfing and embarked on an incredible trip to waterfalls Benang Stokel and a stick fighting event in Praya, which was both crazy and amazing and although it's a bit far, it's absolutely worth it for the experience - which can be provided by the accomodation. Just note that Gerupuk is primarily a surfing destination, so if you don't want to do such activity, there isn't much to do here. Luckily, a scooter can also be provided by the accomodation, so you can explore other parts of Lombok too.

Mind blowing views over Grupuk bay, staff amazing, pool clean and refreshing, comfortable room, aircon works well. Property is a little old but traditional but everything works, yes is a little remote but no issues for us as we drive ourselves around. No mozzie nets in room but no problem as we carry our own.Food and drinks in restaurant tasty! Great value for money!

The views!!! Bruce's Hideouts have the most stunning views. Bruce is such a character with a big heart and ensures a perfect stay. Joe who will look after you, is adorable, and if you need anything is quick to respond. Nothing is a problem. There are scooters to rent from the accommodation, and one point to note is all the apartments have their own filtered water station. We were lucky to stay in three of Bruce's Hideouts. They are all comfortable and have everything you need. The downstairs apartment is a perfect size, with a fab kitchen and lounge area and beautiful views. The seaside cottage, was 'gorgeous'; again the views!. The hammock was placed in a great spot to read, or chill and listen to the ocean, while drinking a tea/coffee or Bintang. The bed was cosy and waking up to the sound of the waves is just the best. The crème de la crème is the two bedroom upstairs apartment, not only does each decent sized bedroom have its own ensuite, there's a little nock next to one of the bedrooms for a bit of timeout from the main lounge. The upstairs apartment is beautifully decorated, with a kitchen looking out over the Bay; and more stunning views. I think this place should be renamed to 'Our Secret Hideout', as we hope the downstairs apartment is available next year 🙏 Thank you Bruce, Tania, Joe and Rani for making our stay memorable.
