Beautifully decorated room with a lot of taste and attention to detail. The host was so welcoming and such an interesting lady who happened to be an architect and who designed the place herself. The breakfast was great and served in a such a serene courtyard. The family has a little cute dog and that made us miss our own doggy. All in all, the perfect place to escape the noise of the city and enjoy some relaxing moments in an incredibly affordable luxury.

We got a very warm welcome from the amazing staff of Sayura House on our first day in Sri Lanka. Great location, isolated from the noise of the nearby busy streets. The place is beautiful with trees, birds and squirrels. Everything is very clean. They are also very enviroment friendly, there are no plastic in the hotel at all. Also recommending their restaurant. Poke65 has delicious foods. Thank you for having us!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip! The home is beautiful, the rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean! The best part of our stay was definitely meeting Glenn, Fiona and Sita! Glenn was soooo helpful in giving us recommendations for our trip as we didn’t have anything planned out. Glenn and Fiona went above and beyond in helping us even after we left their place. They are genuinely so caring and kind-hearted :) Glenn even gave us a ride to the train station early in the morning as we couldn’t get a tuk tuk in time. The breakfast was also delicious!

Very centrally located with lovely family hosts. So welcoming to our little family of 4. Gave us some great local knowledge and FANTASTIC breakfast. Even accommodated to our young kids that weren’t too sure about Sri Lankan food. This accommodation is on the third floor, stairs only with access through the lower level parkade. We never had any issues and seemed a safe area of Colombo.
