Hotel Route Inn Ginan -Kokudo 21 Gou- está ubicado en Ginan, a 28 km de Castillo Nagoya y a 28 km de Estación de Nagoya. Honestly, I expected discrimination since the hotel was quite far from tourist attractions. Unsurprisingly, there were only Japanese guests as far as we could tell. However, the receptionists were all extremely helpful, professional, and friendly above all. I am from Taiwan and can only speak broken Japanese, yet they didn't treat me differently at all during my stay: unlike some of the restaurant and hotel staff members I had unfortunately encountered elsewhere despite trying not to speak English. Here's the icing on the cake. My wife accidentally forgot a personal item that her late father had left her, because I got the checkout time wrong and had to leave in a hurry. I immediately contacted the hotel, but we were already in a different city far from Gifu. They offered to send the item to our next destination free of charge even though I insisted on paying. I must say the staff was far more professional than some of the staffs of a few expensive, traditional onsen ryokan places we stayed in. Thank you, Hotel Route Inn Ginan Kokudo 21! 誠にありがとうございました！
