This stay is poetic, the location is perfectly situated especially if visiting fun2drive or the local towns. There is lovely art all over this inn and the views from the view were poetic, even in winter we watched sulphur vapor rise from between two mountains and a flock of little birds visited the tree outside our window. The room itself was cozy and warm with beautiful wood beams and all the amenities we could ask for including a traditional tea set and beers in the fridge. The onsen was so relaxing, the aches of travel subsided after just one soak.

Everything! The vibe, the location, the onsen, and even the lounge feels warm and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome.

Amazing place in a good location in Hakone. The ladies and staff were really helpful and curated to our needs. The onsen bath was amazing and very relaxing. We hope to visit again.

The breakfast and dinner are exceptionally good and surprising ! We have got crab soup early in the morning ! Very healthy and delicious. Nakamura Shigeki San is quiet but very good and very helpful. I like the whole team of people who prepare the breakfast and dinner. That made our stay in Hakone a perfect one! Arigato arigato

Staying at this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Ever since we arrived, the host made sure that we were comfortable and relaxed. We were welcomed with a homemade chocolate cake, the foods served were delicious (dinner and breakfast-the homemade bread and marmalade was my personal favorite) and the host was really helpful and nice. The onsen was private as well and you can book your preferred time in advanced. The place was also spacious and had a very private touch to it. Going there, you just need to ride one bus from Odawara Station. The hosts went the extra mile to assist us in our needs and even drove us to the bus station because it was raining. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you are visiting Hakone. We would definitely book again when we come back..

Excellent accommodation and staff, very good Japanese breakfast

The hostel clerk working during my stay has an amazing English. Arranging staff, spacious and clean dorm with lot of space compared to regular capsule. Perfect for me as a solo-traveller. The bathroom is the onsen, which is totally ok.

The food was incredible. We had half board, so breakfast and dinner and both were delicious and generous. The onsens were great too.

It's clean It's quite The staff are very kind and well trained. The food is truly exceptional. The room is truly impressive. All in all not single bad thought. We are actually planning to return soon.

It was beautiful. I loved the artwork throughout; it was very unique. The private onsen was amazing.

It's like being in a fairytale. Your own private onsen and room, feeling like there was no one else, surrounded by nature. The staff go above and beyond at all times to which it feels like you have your own entourage.

I had the most amazing time here and can’t wait to come back next time! If you love Japanese cuisine, the chef here creates the most exquisite dishes. Nature was kind to us too—we were lucky enough to enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji right from the specific room we chose. A huge thank you to the incredible staff for their warm hospitality, especially Binod, who was absolutely spectacular. The onsen was a lifesaver after days of endless walking—it worked wonders on my tired body and got me ready to explore all over again. Hakone is truly a beautiful, peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back! It’s not cheap but It is well worth the price we paid. Take care, and see you again soon.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was so kind and helpful. They even offered us a free shuttle to the Open Air Museum, which was such a nice touch. They also provide a super cozy kimono you can wear during your stay, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The food was delicious, and one of the best parts is that you can book a private ryokan with hot spring water at no extra cost. I totally recommend staying here!

Absolutely stunning reception, amazing staff. The meal is exceptional such as the view from the room with the private onsen.

The dinner and breakfast were traditional Japanese meals and were works of art. The detail was incredible and the service wonderful. The rooms were spacious and the house is in a rural area. It is far from the road, so we did have a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. The road is not steep and it was nice to be in a quiet, rural area. The day we left, it was raining and the owner kindly took us to the bus stop.

Great stay! Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

The hotel is nestled in the Hakone mountains, it is a quiet, discreet location. The suites are all very seperate which gives good privacy. The outdoor onsens are very relaxing, overlooking the bamboo gardens as in the pictures. We stayed here for 1-night and enjoyed our stay. My partner and I had left a bag on the train on the way to this location. The staff here were extremely helpful, they called the JR lost & found and sorted it all out for us which was a big stress reliever.

The people were super accommodating and the location was peaceful.
