A huge facility, somewhat surreal with long corridors and endless escalators of piped music, lovely Japanese-style rooms with plenty of space. The cave onsens were just spectacular, especially at sunrise looking out over the Pacific Ocean. Meals are included and very high standard and choice. Wonderful rest and treat after several days hiking the Kumano Kodo trail. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Such a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The views from the hotel are great, we had a sea view room. We asked for help with a dinner reservation and the hotel found us a fantastic and friendly local restaurant (great tempura!) and also drove us there and back. Also a mention for the outdoor onsen, one of the best we’ve been to. We stayed here 1 night after a day in Hongu and Nachi, it’s a great place to stay close to Nachi. Great value for money too.

The hotel was beautiful and clean and the room was perfect for my friends and I. The price was reasonable and the onsen was lovely. The staff at the front desk explained the schedule for the onsen/check out very clearly and they were very kind.
