My stay at this Arima Onsen was absolutely exceptional. The staff were top-notch — attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to providing perfect service. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was taken care of and offered helpful information about both the property and the area. One of the highlights was the incredible selection of eight different onsens right on the premises, each offering a relaxing and unique experience. They also provide convenient rides to nearby restaurants and to and from the bus and train stations, which made exploring the area effortless.Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, first-class onsen experience with outstanding hospitality.

The hotel room was different from any hotel we had ever been. Very Japanese typical style. Everything was provided. There was even a massage chair for our private use. In the evenings while we were at dinner, the staff set up the futon beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. Before bed, we ordered Shiatsu massages, which were exceptional. The food was good! Breakfast was definitely typical Japanese style. The Onsen was amazing. The water felt so healing.

I chose this ryokan because of its public and private onsen, and I wasn’t wrong! Both onsens were so amazing! The cost of the private one is very affordable and even more if you come with group. The locations also very convenient from Arimaonsen station.

The ryokan is small, it has only a few rooms, so you can feel private there. The food was beyond great, tasty and the portions were large. The onsen was clean, with a great outdoor pool. Since the hotel is small, you had complete privacy in the onsen. The service was top notch. The ladies took care of us like their own members of the family. I recommend this place.

The outdoor private onsens were amazing. Booking them was easy and there was always availability. It's really not necessary to get the in-room onsen. The yukata and japanese pj's which were provided were also great quality. I now regret not buying some :) There are some great hiking trails and a hilltop shrine near the hotel, which are very quiet and secluded.

Our first stay in Japanese ryokan was a great expirience. Wood, tatami, futons, japanese garden, free yukatas, beautiful pottery made by famous Kyoto artist. Separated large bathtub and shower. Free tickets to Gin and Kin onsens! Arima is a very beautiful place!

Gorgeous ryokan with good onsens. It was my first traditional Japanese hotel and onsen, so I was very impressed by hospitality, kaiseki dinner, the view, the room with tatami, yukata and hot springs. Totally recommend it!
