Amazing place and unforgettable memories of staying here! Everything starting from a warm welcoming with green tea served, yukata given, kaiseki dinner was perfect! Wonderful room in Japanese traditional style with incredible garden view and a balcony with a massage chair, relaxing hot springs - all of this we will keep as the greatest memory from the ryokan! Thank you so much for welcoming us here! It was amazing stay and great journey!

This was one of the most amazing and wonderful experiences I had. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel at home at all times. I got a good price and, getting a ryokan for solo travelers is really difficult, yet I found this fantastic place. After booking I got a nice and warm message from staff asking me some things regarding my stay, also they let me know they could pick me up at the station. When arriving to Arima Onsen, the shuttle was really quick to come. As soon as you arrive they make you feel welcome. Food was exquisite, and the experience delightful. The onsen was splendid and relaxing, and the futon bed was really comfortable. Also they provide a nice Yukata to make the experience even better. I highly recommend this ryokan and I hope I can come back in a near future.

The facility is a traditional Japanese Ryokan. Although my room was carpeted and with a bed, it was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and patient. in Japanese, it’s called Omotenashi. Although I can speak some Japanese, the staff started and communicated in English with me. The highlights of the stay were 1, happy hour of free beer at the lobby. 2, Three Onsens with 5 pools and sauna I dipped in, as well as private bath I can make reservation.

The ryokan is small, it has only a few rooms, so you can feel private there. The food was beyond great, tasty and the portions were large. The onsen was clean, with a great outdoor pool. Since the hotel is small, you had complete privacy in the onsen. The service was top notch. The ladies took care of us like their own members of the family. I recommend this place.

The outdoor private onsens were amazing. Booking them was easy and there was always availability. It's really not necessary to get the in-room onsen. The yukata and japanese pj's which were provided were also great quality. I now regret not buying some :) There are some great hiking trails and a hilltop shrine near the hotel, which are very quiet and secluded.

Our first stay in Japanese ryokan was a great expirience. Wood, tatami, futons, japanese garden, free yukatas, beautiful pottery made by famous Kyoto artist. Separated large bathtub and shower. Free tickets to Gin and Kin onsens! Arima is a very beautiful place!

Gorgeous ryokan with good onsens. It was my first traditional Japanese hotel and onsen, so I was very impressed by hospitality, kaiseki dinner, the view, the room with tatami, yukata and hot springs. Totally recommend it!
