Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Excellent Onsen, staff and meals (breakfast and dinner). Our host Sara was very nice to make us feel welcome. The hotel has a beautiful view to the lake and to the Fuji and is easily accessible from the station by foot or the complementary shuttle service.

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... We loved our stay here. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also great, the restaurant has an amazing view and the staff was very polite. We also enjoyed the private and public onsen, it was a great experience.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Location to Lake Kawaguchiko. The room is very spacious for family of 4 adults and 1 child. Private onsen and upper floor room for nice view of Fuji. Love the breakfast and dinner provided!
