Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Gorgeous setting, staff and facilities were exceptional, including a free shuttle to the station (I didn’t use as the scenery was lovely to walk and I had already shipped my luggage). Amenities and facilities were more than I had hoped for and the price included breakfast, a light dinner including drinks and snacks.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had an amazing experience at the hotel in every sense. The most remarkable trait is the incredible treatment we received by the staff. Thank you so much!

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... Very good traditional Japanese hotel with hospitality and onsens with a good view. We are happy that this reken was our first. The staff helped with many things. The food was awesome! Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Hotel je dobro lociran, odmah iznad autobusnog stajališta a ima i mogućnost organiziranog prijevoza iz hotela do glavnog autobusnog kolodvora. S prozora naše sobe i iz onsena vidjeli smo Mt. Fuji.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Ryokan is perfectly located, just next to the temple. The staff are welcoming and kind, helping with many things you didn't knew you needed help with. Food is delicious and atmosphere in Ryokan let's you feel like in Japan from the movies. Initially I thought it was pricey, however after the stay I'm disappointed of myself that I didn't book it for longer.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. This Ryokan is exceptional. So clean and well appointed. The family are so friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We loved our dinner in the dining room that we booked in advance. We were very fortunate to be visiting at Christmas time and the Christmas dinner had so much thought and time put into it, making it a very memorable meal and stay for our family.

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. Wonderful experience. Beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This is my second time to stay at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono. The staff are very welcome and willing to help. Very clean and the most important is that they have a private onsen inside the suite.
