It's a beautiful hotel with incredible amenities. The food was incredibly worth it and one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The staff was gracious and helpful and the rooms were fantastic.

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Really outstanding place. The breakfast and dinner service was truly excellent. The selection was great. The rooms themselves were cosy and amazing, with spectacular views. I really did fall in love with the place. And would definitely stay again

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Amazing wiew, delicious dinner and really comfortable and wonderful staff. Massage and private Onsen were amazing with stunning wiew of Fuji. Lake is opposite of the hotel, also they have a free château transfer to the bus and train station. It was really comfortable. Hope will come back next year.

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... Very attentive service, helped to arrange for free shuttle to/from kawaguchiko station. Also the private dining was a good experience.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. They were very attentive, provided accommodations when my bus back to kawaguchiko was late for my dinner reservation, and overall had excellent customer service.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Ryokan is perfectly located, just next to the temple. The staff are welcoming and kind, helping with many things you didn't knew you needed help with. Food is delicious and atmosphere in Ryokan let's you feel like in Japan from the movies. Initially I thought it was pricey, however after the stay I'm disappointed of myself that I didn't book it for longer.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Oyado Koto No Yume je od železniške postaje Takayama oddaljen le 2 min hoda. The room was great, quite a typical ryokan room but it also had a bath in the room which is not something you find everywhere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the station which was important because we had quite a bit of luggage, and one of the main reasons I picked it. It was also a convenient walk to the rest of the town and the morning market. The staff were friendly and helped us with the evening meals around at nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast on our last day which for us was a local selection that includes their famous hida beef. It was quite a big breakfast and very delicious.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. The villa was incredible. The onsen and Mt. Fuji view were absolutely unforgettable.
