At first I was slightly uneased by the price of the night for 3 people, but after experiencing the onsen, the amazing dinner, and exceptional breakfast combined with top notch staff, I must say, the price is very well worth it. Food was superb, and the quality of the onsen was unbelievable - rivaling that of Beppu onsens known through Japan. Not to mention the exceptional accessibility options should the guest be differently abled - 2 very wide elevators, appropriately sloped ground, no bumps going through the rooms.

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Food and bar were exceptional! really beautiful view from our room. Recommend it

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Masaki, who delivered and explained our dinners, was the highlight! He was so friendly and did a great job! Breakfast and dinner were incredibly tasty. You must visit the rooftop foot spa on a clear day, for a spectacular view of Mt Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. Convenient location, free shuttle from/to Kawaguchiko station, room and public onsen were incredibly clean, got to enjoy karaoke and I highly recommend the private bath with the view of Mt Fuji.

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Staff was great, the room was comfortable and it was sooo nice to relax at the onsen. The highlight was the breakfast, in which the staff adapted the meal to be vegetarian for the two of us who are vegetarian

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Our stay at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono was the highlight of what was already an amazing two week holiday in Japan. We stayed in the Miyabi room and it was phenomenal - the traditional aesthetic combined with every amenity you could need. The private onsen was amazing, the Japanese breakfast a wonderful experience. Finally, the staff were courteous, polite and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to see. We could not recommend this property enough.
