We had our 2 year old with us and they were super accommodating and had a lot of kid friendly options available. Meals were great and meal time banquet hall was comfortable for my little one to move around as needed. There is also a kid corner with toys and entertained my LO. The staff were all amazing and we were able to communicate our requests very easily in English. It was very easy to call the hotel shuttle from the ferry and they also brought us back after our stay. We were able to leave our items with them after check out and they brought the items right to the ferry when we were ready to leave. Always plenty of food at meals and satisfy all needs from 2 year old to teen to senior grandparents appetite. Great facilities for family travel.

Everything was great. We used the service to pick up our luggage from the luggage storage, and explored our way up to the beautiful hotel location on foot. The staff were welcoming. Dinner was both beautiful and delicious, and it was great to be able to book the bath for a relaxing private bath. The rooms were spacious, pretty, relaxing, and quiet with an amazing view!

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Our stay at this modern hotel on Miyajima Island was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although the hotel is about a kilometer from the ferry terminal, they offer a free and very convenient transfer service, which made everything super easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic torii gate, and also close to the ropeway up Mount Misen. We chose a plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the dining experience was truly exceptional — dinner was a beautifully presented multi-course fine dining experience, and breakfast was a traditional Japanese-style meal that we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and arranging the transfer were all effortless. The small public bath was a great way to relax, especially the outdoor section, which was tastefully decorated with plants and felt amazing on a chilly night after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay on Miyajima!

Die Unterkunft war ein absoluter Traum. Das Hotel liegt in einem historischen Gebäude und ist architektonisch wirklich wunderschön. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren unglaublich bequem wir haben geschlafen wir auf Wolken. An einem Abend haben wir das Dinner im Hotel gebucht und das war kulinarisch eine wunderbare Reise. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich nur empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft Kinsuikan, die in Miyajima, 2,6 km von Strand von Tsutsumigaura entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz, einer... Das Beste waren die traditionellen Yukata für den Onsen und die Futon Betten. Das hat uns das japanische Leben nochmal viel Näher gebracht. Der Massagesessel war auch super. Das typisch japanische Frühstück ist hingegen etwas zu viel für uns gewesen. Zum Frühstück waren eingelegtes Gemüse und Fisch nicht das richtige. Aber es war so schön angerichtet.

Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine Gemeinschaftslounge Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa und Zimmer in Miyajima, 2,3 km von Strand von Tsutsumigaura und 500 m von Pagode der fünf Geschichten entfernt. Es sind wirklich sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten und Zimmer mit Tatami Matten sowie einer hübschen Holzbadewanne. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Weniger als 25 km von Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine und 28 km von Saikon-ji Temple entfernt in Onomichi gelegen, bietet die Unterkunft Suminoe Ryokan Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, kostenloses... Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.

Everything was exceptional. We loved the Oyado Tsukiusagi! It had the most comfortable futon beds we experienced through our 5 weeks of traveling through Japan, a beautiful and clean room, and the lady at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really love Miyajima so we were very happy that we could stay at the island through the night.

We loved everything about the property. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, beautiful, and full of character. The location was perfect… peaceful and tucked away, but still only a short walk to the island’s main sights, shops, and ferries. It made exploring Miyajima incredibly easy. Communication with the host was clear, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. A map of the island with restaurants pinpointed including their business hours was provided to us at check in which was very thoughtful. We loved the quiet atmosphere, the beautiful interior, and the sense of calm the property offered. The beds were VERY comfortable! Plates, cups, cutlery, chopsticks, teapot plus tea and yummy coffee were all available! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miyajima.

Great location , close to town and the red Tori. Spacious comfortable room, view of the forest in the back, nice building with a restaurant downstairs with excellent food. Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. You can leave your bags if needed. We walked from the ferry, 20-30 mns. Great bath/tubs. Everything works well.
