Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. The greatest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect- it's near the bus stop and pretty close to Open-Air Museum. I also loved the onsen, both of them were clean and nice. The common area is cool and everything you need is there. I absolutely recommend it!

Amazing overall and the staff really friendly. To clarify because I had the same doubt, each room has it's own bathroom with shower. Then the onsen is separate. They reserve an hour for you to use privately. Be sure to arrive before 6pm so they can prepare your dinner.
