The most memorable hotel we had in Japan! Lovely traditional Japanese Ryokan, for an unforgettable experience. We loved the authentic room and futons, the beautiful and delicious Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Everything was so special. The private open air Onsen was a real treat, where the whole family could bathe together, which is not common in most onsens that are gender separated. Bus stop is a few minutes walking from thr ryokan. Would love to return!

Clean and big room - very traditional old Japanese style Ryokan; exactly what we have been looking for. Great location too. The staff was fantastic, providing us with tips for the neighbourhood and some interesting Japanese coffee jelly. There is free coffee, tea and water as well at all times. Be sure to reserve breakfast at least a day in advance. We missed it and unfortunately could not get a taste of it (though it looked fantastic).

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. Dinner was very good with lots of choices. Everyone was dressed on traditional Japanese robes that he hotel provided, I didn't expect people to wear to dinner and breakfast. Onsen was very good and clean and provided lots of amenities. Loved the views, absolutely gorgeous

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Staffs speaks very good english. The room is very big and it comes with mini SFC. Private onsen. Many retro toys to reminisce

Breakfast was super good (variety and quality). All staff was very attentive and caring. Onsen was really nice and relaxing.
