The Onsen is very nice and the food: definitely a must! Friendly staff and good location. It isn’t modern. As most thing in Japan, it seems a bit vintage but really well maintained.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. I really loved staying here! The place was very clean, great location and the interior was so nice. Staff was so friendly and helpful, even they were helpful when I asked for spoon & fork in the middle of the night. Will gladly stay here again!

The property is located in the mountains and is absolutely beautiful when it snows. Going for an onsen dip in the snow was such an unforgettable experience. The meals were so very delicious and the portions are HUGE. They did pay attention to our dietary requirements and our food was served correctly. Staff were lovely as well. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. And there's heating under the floorboards, so the room felt warm and cozy.
