Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. Bathrooms were clean and the shower room was large and comfortable. The room atmosphere was very comfortable and the view of the garden was special. It was nice to have tea and coffee and look at the garden at night. Staff was very helpful and kind and a money change machine was helpful in the lobby.

Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. Really enjoyed my stay here, everything with great with no complaints!

Very nice traditional building with a lot of national touch. We stayed in a deluxe room with a wooden bathtube. Very confortable room with a larger size vs majority. Silence for sleeping and good matress. Good location, traditional street. 15 min walk to railway station or 10 min to the metro.

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. Everything was great! Very nice clean and very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience ryokan.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Very authentic place, staff is nice and helpful, location is very convenient

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is well located very close to the public baths and has itself 2 private baths that you can use in private the afternoons. The personal went above and beyond to make our stay better, even with the language differences. They let us store our luggage before the check in time and took it to the train station the day of check out. They lent us some yukatas to stroll in the town and the owner proposed to take some pictures of us outside the ryokan which was a nice detail. The room we stayed, was a typical ryokan room with futon and everything, which complements the charm of the stay. The food was delicious and they even explained us how the items in the dinner were supposed to be enjoyed. Super authentic experience and totally recommended.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. We enjoyed the serene and beautiful atmosphere. The meals, morning prayers, and fire ceremony were profound experiences in which we felt fortunate to participate. We were grateful to have had at least one night at Köyasan Syukubo Ekoin Temple. Our thanks to the entire community.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. We loved the traditional experience and the beauty of the place. The staff was very dedicated, welcoming and very helpful

The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
